I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 35 years of experience in healthcare. I’m originally from upstate New York, but I’ve spent most of my adult life in Florida, where I’ve built both a career and a life I love.
My path in healthcare began early — I grew up in a family-run medical business and went on to become an EMT, then a Paramedic, and later a Registered Nurse. After 20 years in nursing, I became a Family Nurse Practitioner, and eventually decided to further my training in mental health. I saw how often patients struggled to get timely, compassionate mental health care, and I wanted to help close that gap.
Today, I offer virtual mental health services for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, insomnia, and life stress. I take a thoughtful, down-to-earth approach — offering evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management when appropriate. Most importantly, I create a space where you can feel heard, supported, and never judged.
My style is collaborative and personalized. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I take time to get to know you, understand your goals, and work with you to find the tools and strategies that feel right for you.
Alongside my clinical work, I also spent several years as a foster parent in a therapeutic program, supporting kids with emotional and behavioral needs. Watching them grow into confident young adults has been a real gift, and many of them have stayed in my life even as they've built their own.
I’m a proud dad of four grown sons and grateful to be a grandfather and great-grandfather. I also have four dogs that make my life so much better! Pets are family and make our world a better place. I enjoy cooking, traveling, music, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy learning new things — over the years, I’ve earned my private pilot’s license, scuba certification, and ham radio license.
